Inflow and Infiltration
We compare rainfall with sewer level or flow data to identify which monitored areas respond most strongly during wet weather. We use those results to target follow-up smoke testing, dye testing, CCTV, or manhole inspections.
What you receive
A map of monitored locations and wet-weather response, documented field observations, and recommended follow-up.
Remote sensor monitoring
Record sewer level or flow over time and compare readings with rainfall to identify wet-weather response.
Smoke and dye testing
Smoke testing helps locate openings where rainwater may enter the sanitary sewer. Targeted dye testing can help trace suspected connections. We record observations, photos, and locations in GIS for field verification and follow-up.
Manhole chimney assessment and repair
We document visible gaps and signs of water entry around frames, joints, and adjustment rings. Where repairs are included in the agreed scope, a flexible elastomeric coating may be used to seal suitable joints and gaps.
Drone documentation
Where authorized and included in scope, aerial imagery can document visible smoke during testing in hard-to-reach locations. Crews verify observations on the ground before identifying a connection or recommending repairs.
